The Bethesda Urban Partnership and Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District will host the 14th annual Bethesda Fine Arts Festival, which will feature 140 artists from throughout the country who will display and sell their work, on May 13 & May 14, 2017 along Norfolk, Auburn and Del Ray Avenues in Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle. More than 20,000 attendees will enjoy the festival over the course of the weekend and we need your support to make this event a great success. Help from volunteers in our community is an essential part of the Bethesda Urban Partnership producing wonderful and exciting events.
Set-Up Volunteers
Saturday, May 13: 8am-11am
This team assists with distributing artist signs, set up of info tent and kids area, table cloths, etc.
Booth Volunteers
Saturday, May 13: 11am – 1pm, 1pm - 3pm, 3pm - 5pm
Volunteers are needed to booth sit for artists for up to 15 minutes so that artists can take a bathroom or lunch break. This is important as many artists travel alone and have no one to watch their booth so they can take a much needed break. Occasionally, assistance is needed in the kid’s area and info tent, and to hand out water to artists.
Sunday, May 14: 11am – 1pm, 1pm – 3pm, 3pm – 5pm
Same duties as Saturday booth volunteers description, just different shifts that still need help!
