Joint BECC and MERGE spring meeting 2019: The Sustainable Development Goals
Most of us have heard about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. But what do they really mean to our research, and how can we harness them to make our research more relevant, better connected and more readily funded?

This year’s meeting theme is ‘The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’.
How are BECC and MERGE stakeholders adapting to the new development agenda?
And how can our research contribute to Sweden’s implementation of the 17 SDGs?

At the 2019 spring meeting we will meet stakeholders, learn about their implementation efforts and identify knowledge gaps. Our goal is to further enable BECC and MERGE researchers to convey the relevance of their research with regard to the SDGs and the capacity of Swedish stakeholders to implement them.
