There are several parts to this Re-Enrollment:
UMaine Cooperative Extension must update contact information for each active Master Gardener Volunteer annually.   University of Maine requires that Volunteer Standards of Behavior, Non-Discrimination, and Photo Release agreements be kept on file in each office for the current year.  

This year, in addition, we have a couple of new questions.  The first is about background checks.  If you were background checked last in 2015 or earlier then we will need to repeat that check this year.  It is a recent change that all background checks get repeated every three years so class of 2015 or before is due for a recheck this time around  

We also have a question about pictures you might want to share of your projects.  If, in the course of your volunteering you believe you will have pictures you want to share there is a spot to let us know and we will follow up in December with a licensing form for you to sign.  

Those who do not complete this annual re-enrollment will be removed from our Master Gardener Volunteers list as this is a required part of re-certification.  If some limiting factors prevented you from completing the required 20 hours of volunteer time this year or will prevent it in the coming MGV year (Oct. 1, 2018-Sept. 30, 2019)  Please re-enroll and then contact Lynne Holland (lynne.holland@maine.edu) the week after Thanksgiving.  If you have any questions on this at all please do not hesitate to call.
