All accessible parking space aisles are unencumbered (e.g., no containers, dumpsters, ice, etc.) *
There is a visible sign to identify each accessible parking space. *
Free-standing signs are mounted at least 7 feet above the ground. *
Flush-mounted signs (i.e., on a building structure or a wall) are at least 6 feet, but no more than 10 feet, above the ground. *
Parking space signs have the international symbol of access and the words "Reserved Parking". *
Van-accessible spaces are identified with a supplemental "Van Accessible" sign and have a wider access aisle (96") to accommodate a wheelchair lift. *
Van accessible spaces have a "No Parking in Access Aisle" sign posted on "Reserved Parking" space post with arrow pointing to access aisle OR "No Parking in Access Aisle" sign is on separate post in front of access aisle. *
Signs posted are identified with a supplemental "Maximum Fine $250" sign for Montgomery County and City of Gaithersburg, $100 for City of Rockville, and $255 for Takoma Park. *
