Garnet Valley School District employs the League for Educational Advancement (LEA) process and structure at the district and building level as a strategy for collaborative decision making that supports student learning.
The GVES LEA Committee is comprised of administrators, professional and support staff, and HSA representatives. The committee meets monthly to identify and enhance building issues related to student learning. The committee also conducts a yearly continuous improvement survey to gain input from all stakeholders.
The LEA committee will consider for review items that relate to key educational issues, affect a significant number of students, are not currently being changed or reviewed by another group, and are within the committee’s power to improve.
To contact the LEA team, you may submit this brief form. Suggestions that meet the criteria above will be considered at the following month’s meeting. For any concerns that do not meet the LEA criteria, please contact the office.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to submit ideas that could potentially enhance student learning. Thank you.
