The Cheyney Foundation offers academic scholarships for $50- $2,000 for cover the remaining balances of graduating seniors for the spring or fall of 2018.

To be eligible, students must be an current student enrolled in an undergraduate major at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. The student must be a senior, graduating from Cheyney University in either May 2018 or December 2018
Students must have a documented unmet need that can be verified by the University's Bursar's Office t, that is within $50 - $2,000 and have an undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or higher.  

This award cannot generate a refund.

Application Requirements:
1. Unofficial transcripts from all undergraduate institutions
2. Resume
3. 800 max word essay (please see essay prompt below)
4. Please provide a Bursar's statement and/or a letter from the Bursar's statement declaring financial need

Application Essay:
Your essay should aim to answer all of the following questions:
-Share a story on how you came to choose Cheyney University.
-What are your career and professional goals and how does Cheyney University play a part in reaching them?
-How will this scholarship impact your future goals?
