The Generations Project - Visibility Through Fashion
On March 21st Fashion Institute of Technology will co-host an event with The Generations Project.

The Generations Project (TGP) fosters relatable, intergenerational storytelling to bring life to the history of the LGBTQ community. We gather stories as powerful tool to inspire understanding and appreciation of the richness of LGBT cultures and the journeys that led us to where we are today. Our live storytelling events bring these stories to people of all ages.

The theme of the FIT event is "Visibility Through Fashion" and seeks to gather stories from LGBTQ people who use fashion as way to create identity, authenticity and self-esteem, as well as find community. We will be gathering these stories by videotaping participants. The video will be shown the evening of the event.

If you are interested in telling your story, please fill out this short form. The organizers will be in touch with dates and time the videotaping will take place on the FIT campus.
