In 200 words or less, describe your interest in the council, and ideas or projects regarding ISC sororities or Greek life generally that interest you. *
The available positions this summer are President, Vice President of Standards and Policy, Vice President of Research and Analysis, and Vice President of Inclusivity and Outreach.
President
The President has overall responsibility for the operation of the ISC calls and presides at all regular, executive and special meetings of the Council and regularly meets with the house presidents and Director of Greek Life. She serves on the Greek Leadership Council and is responsible for attending those meetings and representing the interests of the ISC Community. The President approves financial transactions, assists and overlooks other officers’ duties, and may serve as a public relations spokesperson for news publications.

Vice President of Standards and Policy
The VP of Standards and Policy shall also be in charge of the policy of the ISC, and will be acutely responsible for the ISC Bylaws document. She will run weekly ISC meetings and work closely with the members of the Council to oversee projects and ensure cohesion between members. She shall perform the duties of the President in her absence, and should the President resign, the VP of Standards and Policy shall assume her place unless she is unwilling or unable.

Vice President of Research and Analysis
The VP of Research and Analysis is expected to research materials (i.e. hard alcohol, sexual assault, inclusivity and facial awareness theory) and collect feedback on existing and new policies for purposes of clarification, transparency, and positive change. This also includes looking to other Panhellenic Councils and ISCs to garner an understanding of initiatives that councils are taking on nationwide. She will work to compile current and past research in order to create a document that is accessible and organized for the current and future board to determine where their energy could best be spent. Given that she will have the most in-depth knowledge on the range of possible initiatives, she is encouraged to bring forth proposals to the council regarding potential projects. She is responsible for implementing and executing the use of surveys in the formal recruitment process to determine where there is room for improvement and to measure the PNM experience. A knowledge of statistics would be useful but is not required.

Vice President of Inclusivity and Outreach (x2)
The VP of Relations and Outreach shall serve as advisor to all ISC sponsored initiatives. She will manage meetings with the ISC Representatives (at least monthly), manage meetings with social chairs and programming chairs from all sororities (if appropriate) and coordinate outreach beyond the ISC sorority community. She will be in frequent communication with the ISC Reps, and will use them as avenues for implementation of ISC initiatives (surveys, financial aid reporting, etc.). This position is crucial to the ISC goals for a intersectional and diverse inter-sorotity community stressing all levels of inclusivity for women at Dartmouth.
