The events listed below occur once or twice per year

Picture Retake Day - Friday, September 21 - school day morning

Run. Walk. Move. (Fun Run) – October 12 - during school day - set up, event, break down

Harvest Moon Festival – October 19 evening – setup, event, cleanup

Scholastic Book Fair – November 7-9 and March 13-19 – school day or afternoon/evenings

Game Night – Nov & March evening – Help with snacks and prizes

Breakfast with Buddies – March – Before school

Share Fair - March - evening - Help with set-up and break-down

Square One Art - Administrative and Distribution

School Supply Kits – Administrative and Distribution

Information/Picture Day – mid-August 2020 (afternoon)

PTO Ongoing Activities

These are monthly and ongoing volunteer opportunities. Those marked with a double asterisk (**) are volunteer opportunities that can be managed 100% after normal working hours if desired.

Bulletin Board - update the [physical] PTO bulletin board at Northside monthly

**Facebook administrator - manage FB events and create graphics and scheduled posts

**Newsletter - publish monthly PTO newsletter for distribution to families

Dolphin Dash – Fall/Spring – Tuesdays lunch time

Staff Appreciation – help with varied monthly events for staff

Yearbook – take pictures at school events, administrative/distribution

**Trash to Treasure – prepare box tops, etc. for quarterly redemption

Farm to School Taste Test – serve samples 1 friday a month at lunch

Read-on Volunteer – oversee book distribution once a month during lunch

**Website administrator - publish blog and update and maintain PTO Wordpress-based website

Classroom opportunities

Art in the Classroom is currently our only in-the-classroom volunteer opportunity coordinated through the PTO
