Mental Health First Aid - SUNDAY, November 11th, 2018
According to the National Council for Behavioral Health, Mental Health First Aid is an eight-hour course is designed to equip participants with the skills and confidence to identify and assist someone who is experiencing a mental health crisis. Participants will gain knowledge of common risk factors and warning signs of specific mental illnesses. Through role-playing and simulation participants will also be able to initiate mental health care by connecting persons with the appropriate professional, peer and self-help care.

Mental Health First Aid has a limited course capacity of 30 people. Registration does not guarantee a spot in this session. A confirmation email with a location will follow for those granted access to the course.
