If offered next year, would you be interested in Welding Classes? *
Course Description:  Welding is required by a wide variety of industries—anywhere fusible materials and high heat are needed to manufacture, repair, or alter tools and products. Professional welders are in high demand and can earn accordingly. Students in Welding I are taught to use manual welding, cutting, and electrical arc welding processes to fabricate and join metal parts according to diagrams, blueprints, and specifications. Students will also learn all safety-related practices and techniques, including earning the OSHA 10 card.
If offered next year, would you be interested in Cyber Security Classes? *
Course Description:  The need for personal and professional cyber security skills has never been greater. The Cyber Security/Forensics infusion units are comprised of three main pieces: Cyber Security Foundations, Social Engineering and Personal Cyber Security, and Cyber Forensics. All tasks are listed as optional so that instructors may customize the units as they wish.
If offered next year, would you be interested in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training Classes? *
Course Description:  This course of studies provides students with the basic concepts and skill set required for an entry-level position as a sports medicine assistant. It introduces students to topics such as injury prevention, nutrition, first aid/CPR/AED, exercise physiology, and biomechanics. Students study basic human anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, legal and ethical issues in sports medicine, and career preparation. Course competencies have been constructed so as not to go beyond the professional scope of aide/assistant level. Mastery of the material in this course would provide students with a strong background should they wish to pursue certification in areas such as first aid, CPR, AED, and/or personal trainer.
If offered next year, would you be interested in an Introduction to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) class? *
Course Description:  Students are taught to professionally install, repair, and maintain the operating conditions of heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Students work with piping and tubing, study the principles of heat and electricity, install duct systems, and comply with EPA regulations. Completion of the two-course sequence may prepare students for a number of certification exams, helpful for employment in a variety of HVACR occupations.
If offered next year, would you be interested in a Computer Networking and Hardware class? *
This course teaches students the skills needed to obtain entry-level home network installer jobs. It helps students develop some of the skills needed to become network technicians, computer technicians, cable installers, and help-desk technicians. It provides a hands-on introduction to networking and the Internet, using tools and hardware commonly found in home and small business environments.  Labs include PC installation, Internet connectivity, wireless connectivity, file and print sharing, and the installation of game consoles, scanners, and cameras.  It also prepares students for jobs as network technicians and helps them develop additional skills required for computer technicians and help desk technicians. It provides a basic overview of routing and remote access, addressing, security and familiarizes students with servers that provide e-mail services, Web space, and authenticated access. Students learn about the soft skills required for help desk and customer service positions, and the final chapter helps them prepare for the CCENT certification exam. Network monitoring and basic troubleshooting skills are taught in context.
If offered next year, would you be interested in an Auto Body Technician class? *
Course Description:  In the global automotive repair industry, there is a growing demand for qualified auto body technicians. In this course, students are taught non-structural analysis, damage repair, and welding. Students work with a variety of materials, using metal finishing and body filling techniques to prepare surfaces and repair panels. In addition, students practice shop safety and gain career skills. Students who successfully complete this program sequence will be prepared to take and pass the respective ASE/NATEF exam and will be prepared for postsecondary education opportunities.
If offered next year, would you be interested in a Pharmacy Technician class? *
Course Description:  This certificate program is designed to provide students with the basic skills and knowledge to begin work as a pharmacy technician. The coursework will fulfill the requirements of the Board of Pharmacy and prepare students to take either the state examination or the national examination administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Trained, experienced pharmacy technicians who can demonstrate the right skills and knowledge should be able to pursue many exciting and respected career options or postsecondary study in the pharmacy field.

Course Description:  Students enrolled in this program learn skills associated with general maintenance and repair of lawnmowers, rotary tillers and portable power equipment.
If offered next year, would you be interested in an Advanced Computer Information Systems class? *
Course Description: Students apply problem-solving skills to real-life situations through advanced integrated software applications, including printed, electronic, and Web publications. Students work individually and in groups to explore advanced computer maintenance activities, Web site development, programming, networking, emerging technology, and employability skills.
