This application is for our Albany market, 1st Saturday of each month at Albany Hall, Library Lane, Albany
Applications are welcome from quality local makers who wish to showcase their New Zealand made products. We aim to have a good mix of stalls that will appeal to the public. We do have a requirement for a well presented stand.
Please note application does not mean guaranteed acceptance to the Crafternoon Tea Market. We can only accept a limited amount of stall holders and we try not to have too many of one type of product.
The expectation of all stallholders is to have a willingness to promote our market in the lead up to the event.
Market Money is a special currency that is only available for use at the Crafternoon Tea Market, on the one day (expired after the market day). We offer this service as not all of our stallholders have eftpos machines. It is a great system and it is very flexible. You must accept BOTH cash and Market Money payments from your customers, you can also bring your own Eftpos/ credit card machine if you wish. You can price your items for whatever you want, but if someone pays with Market Money, you must give them real money as change. At the end of the market, we will count up all your market money and issue a receipt. The money will be deposited into your bank account within 3 working days.
Please note:
The 1.8m trestle space is literally enough for a full table. If you wish to have stands or rack spaces on either side of your table, you will need to check the appropriate size box below.
Trestle tables can be hired for an extra $10 each.
One chair per space will be provided.
Opening Hours/ Set Up
The market is open from 10am - 2pm. Free entry.
Set up is from 8:15am, all stall holders must be on site by 9:30am.
Stall holders are not able to pack up until 2pm sharp. No early departure is allowed. An early departure will result in you not being invited back.
New to Crafternoon Tea Markets
If you are NEW to Crafternoon Tea (not a previously stallholder), we will require 3 photos of your products and a photo of your table display.
Applications will not be processed until all photos have been received.

Refunds may be issued once payment is received IF we receive cancellation notice more than 48 hours prior to the market - but is subject to organisers discretion. The market will not be cancelled due to bad weather as the majority of stalls are located indoor and a lot of resources have been put into organising the event.
PROMOTE
Crafternoon Tea Markets is a collaborative market, we are a super friendly team and we all help in promoting the market and our fellow stallholders. We require all stallholders to advertise their involvement with the Crafternoon Tea Market.
Use of social media to draw attention to your stall / business and attract new visitors to the markets. You will need to share our poster and event on your social media - Facebook/ Instagram/ Email etc. Participate with your fellow stallholders and create some excitement around the market.

- Let your customers know when you going to be at the #crafternoonteamarket by tagging us in your posts
- As much as we would like to advertise/ mention every stallholders, we can only handpick a few so your effort is much appreciated
- Stall holders who actively engage on social media will be given priority to return for future markets
