8th Annual Churchville Veterans Day Assembly
Families and Friends of Churchville Middle School,

Churchville Middle School will be hosting its Eighth Annual Veterans Day Ceremony - we would like to celebrate and honor those that have served to protect our freedom.  Students and faculty may invite any family members and/or friends that have previously served or are currently serving in any branch of the Armed Forces.  We know many of the young people of the Churchville community have a connection to the military and this will be an opportunity for them to share that with the rest of the school.  Students and faculty members will sit with their guests.  We are tying our assembly to the PTA Reflections theme of “What is Your Story?” We are asking that any attending Veteran may submit a picture beforehand to use in telling their story to our students. A picture is not necessary to tell a story.

We will host this ceremony on Friday, November 11th, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 3:20 pm in the gymnasium.  Honored guests, please plan to arrive between 1:30 - 1:45 pm to check into the office and receive visitor passes.  Immediately following the ceremony, we will have a reception in our foyer for our honored guests and the students who invited their family members and/ or friends who have served in the Armed Forces.

Additionally, we are creating a wall of tribute for all family members who have served in our Armed Forces.  Please complete and return the bottom portion of this letter to homeroom teachers by Friday, November 4th so that we can recognize their contributions to our country.

If a military service member is able to attend, please indicate this on the form.
