Awareness, Terms and Conditions
Bushcraft, Forest School, and playing in the outdoors inherently involves a certain amount of risk, which serves a vital role in a child’s development. By ticking below you understand that by its nature, bushcraft involves tool use, though carefully monitored and risk/benefit assessed, it means some risk is inevitable. You agree that cuts, grazes, burns, falls and injury can happen while children are on a bushcraft course or Forest School course and will not sue for such. You give Earth Force Education permission to give first aid in accordance with our Forest School Leaders level of first aid training or to refer your child for medical treatment if necessary. I consent to the above medical declaration: *
By signing below I hereby grant free permission to use images of my child participating in these programs or events for outreach purposes, including but not limited to electronic or printed materials or online media. Earth Force Education is very careful to uphold the dignity of all, so please consider granting this release to us, as our ability to successfully share our programmes with new participants depends on having representative photographs. *
Kit List
• A small day pack, backpack.
• Wet gear; waterproof jacket and trousers – essential!
• Wellington boots or waterproof hiking boots
• A hat and gloves, prefably fleece as it's waterproof
• Spare gloves and 2 x socks in a plastic bag to keep them dry
• Avoid cotton as it gets cold when wet. Use thermals and ski gear if you have it.
• Bring a change of clothes for the car afterwards (they may well be mucky/wet)
• Lunch and several snacks, avoid too many treats please as we need sustained energy for a busy day outdoors.
• A drink of water and a hot drink in a flask is really nice.
• Any medication your child needs, please inform us in advance.
• Children must have parent or guardian supervision at all times.

Cancellation policy
As we are holding a place for your child where numbers on each course are limited, we will take a 50% cancellation fee if we have less than one weeks advance notice, we charge 75% of the fee if we have two days notice, and 100% within 24hrs. Although highly unlikely, we reserve the right to change or cancel any programme if deemed necessary. If we cancel due to severely bad weather and if it is deemed unsafe to go outside due to high winds, we will refund your fee if the full day is cancelled or you can choose to attend an alternative date.
