2018 RacketCon Office Hours Survey
Last year at (seventh racketcon) we held Racketeer Office hours to critical acclaim. Among the feedback we received were two major themes:

- Many people wanted to learn how to use Racket and wished for more explicitly guided activities, such as workshops and tutorials.

- Many other people wanted more pre-planned and pre-organized efforts to contribute to and collaborate on (the wiki list wasn't quite enough).

To continue the tradition of making each RacketCon the best one yet, this year we would like to explore organizing a handful of small groups of Racketeers to lead focused sections of Office Hours. Groups will be loosely united around a common field such as "types" or "web programming". We're looking for two different kinds of groups which we're calling "teams" and "workshops":

- Teams are Racketeers who wish to work on community projects in a specific field. For example, a "testing team" may choose a set of Racket testing packages to improve with documentation, features, bug fixes, etc.

- Workshops are Racketeers who wish to give Racket newcomers hands-on lessons in a specific field, such as with some sort of tutorial project.

We want you involved in the planning of the office hours to make them a success and ensure they meet the needs of the community.
