Nomination Criteria
The MAVA Leadership Award recognizes an individual who has significantly contributed to the field of volunteer resources management through their leadership excellence.  

Nominations are welcome from all members of the community, provided that the nominee meets the following award criteria:
- demonstrates exceptional leadership of volunteers
- is currently involved in volunteer management field
- is not a current member of the Award Selection Committee
- may not receive the award for the same initiative or be awarded in consecutive years
- cannot be self-nominated
