Rethink Learning and What it means to Teach
The purpose of this survey is to gather data in regards to the education process. Does the traditional educational environment provide the best learning opportunities for students of the 21st century? How does the shift in society alter the education field? Does the state of education need to change to reflect the 21st century mentality? This is a wicked problem, one that does not have an ideal solution. Our group suggests that altering current best teaching practices will create a more effective system by shifting from a teacher centered classroom to more a student centered classroom. Through this student centered classroom, teachers would be facilitating learning opportunities.

Please mark your agreement with each statement from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree).  3 is neutral (neither agree nor disagree).  Skip any questions you don't know about.  The survey takes 1-5 minutes. This survey is being conducted by a group of Michigan State University graduate students as part of their degree program. Your responses are collected anonymously. Thank you for your time.
