Are you interested in being a Class Librarian? This would involve filling lost music requests, letting Ms. Holbrook know when copies run low, and some library filing work. *
Are you interested in being a part of the Equipment Crew? This would involve making sure there are the correct number of chairs & stands in each row at the end of class and making sure they are neat and orderly. *
Are you interested in being a Substitute Teacher Assistant? This would involve assisting any substitutes in the band room and might also involve your helping to lead class. *
Are you interested in being a Percussion Equipment Manager? This is only for percussionists! This would involve helping your section members get equipment set up properly for class and back into the percussion room at the end of class, making equipment lists for concerts, and other things percussion related. *
Are you interested in being a class photographer? This would involve taking pictures of your band or other Daniell Bands at concerts, field trips, and on occasion, in class. You must have either a smartphone or a camera of your own. *
Are you interested in being an artist for the band? This might involve making hand-drawn signs, flyers, and/or invitations for events. You should have excellent drawing skills in order to do this. *
Are you interested in being a new student liaison? Students wanting to do this should be friendly and willing to help others. This would involve greeting new students and kind of being the "middle man or woman" between the new student and director by providing them with the appropriate syllabus, forms, etc... and helping get them set up for success in band (and hopefully you'd be a resource for them until they get used to Daniell in general). You would also let Ms. Holbrook know if the student has questions about band or specific band needs. *
Do you have crazy, good skills putting together iMovies or something similar to that? *
Are you tech savvy with computers and tablets? This might entail learning how to use SmartMusic and helping during class when/if we use SmartMusic. *
