COLLABORATION
Preference will be given to sessions that include members of different Ecosystems. You are encouraged to use the SLECoP Internal Discussion Board to find communities interested collaborating. For help accessing the site, please review the following tutorial video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLSeEPKAqdA&t=68s Additionally, other Ecosystems have experienced success collaborating across SLECoP communities by using Google Docs. By uploading the submission questions into a Google doc, you can invite your co-presenters to make changes and additions prior to the proposal deadline.
PRESENTATION STYLE
Time for discussion, networking and reflection is always valued. Based on feedback from your SLECoP peers, the highest rated E2E sessions are those that include opportunities for ecosystem leaders to actively participate.
Get creative and be bold! Take a dynamic approach to presenting your information, some examples include:
* “Flash talks” (e.g., 3 slides in 5 minutes) or a collection of flash talks on a specific topic in a quick, dynamic manner.
* "Hands-on” session around a particular theme emphasizing participation and allowing time to practice effective facilitation tools.
All E2E sessions will be presented in smaller breakout rooms that hold 20-60 people (dependent on conference venue availability). Each room will be set with a projector, pens, large poster paper, notepads and tables seating 8-10 participants at each table. Presenters will be responsible for providing a laptop, if needed.
