Hrana je sastavni deo našeg svakodnevnog života. Javne politike Evropske unije i Srbije imaju direktan uticaj na hranu koja stiže do tvog tanjira: odakle dolazi, koliko košta, i koliko je društveno pravedna i zdrava. Green European Foundation iz Brisela uz podršku udruženja U mreži i Grupe za analizu i kreiranje javnih politika organizuje tribinu pod nazivom "Ekološka i pravedna proizvodnja hrane" 04. marta 2019. godine od 17:30h do 19:00 u KC Grad u Savamali.

Razgovaraćemo o agroekološkom pravcu kao alternativi konvencionalnoj poljoprivredi, oblicima kao što su community supported agriculture i zadrugama, gradskim baštama, ulogom žena u održivoj poljoprivredi a sve u svetlu pridruživanja Srbije EU i zajedničke poljoprivredne politike EU (CAP EU).

Nakon tribine, organizatori će zajedno sa udruženjem Nova Stara planina poslužiti večeru u okviru programa Delikatesni ponedeljak KC Grad. Večera pod nazivom Ukusi Stare planine sadržaće jela autentična za ovo zaštićeno prirodno područje, i skrenuti pažnju na to da je održiva proizvodnja hrane alternativa štetnim projektima kao što su minihidro elektrane koje su planirane za gradnju u ovom prirodnom dobru.

Ovaj događaj je prvi koji će se održati u okviru projekta Pravedna i zdrava hrana(Fair and healthy food), koji ima za cilj povezivanje različitih aktera širom Evrope koji rade na redizajnu sistema hrane oko agroekoloških principa.

Konferencija je organizovana od strane Green European Foundation - GEF uz podršku udruženja U mreži i Grupa za analizu i kreiranje javnih politika, uz finansijsku podršku Evropskog parlamenta za Green European Foundation.

Food is an integral part of our everyday life. Public policies of the European Union and Serbia have a direct impact on the food that comes to your plate: where it comes from, how much it costs, and how socially just and healthy.

Green European Foundation with the support of Networked Serbia organizes a panel and Q&A session titled "Fair and Healthy Food" on March 4, 2019 from 17:30 to 19:00 at KC Grad in Savamala, Belgrade.

We will talk about the agro-ecological direction as an alternative to conventional agriculture, alternatives such as community-supported agriculture and cooperatives, urban gardens, the role of women in sustainable agriculture, with connection with the accession of Serbia to the EU and the EU Common agricultural policy (CAP).

After panel, organizers will prepare diner for all participants, together with activists from Old Mountain in Serbia, who are fighting to protect their rivers from hydro-industry construction in protected natural areas. The ingredients for the meal will be sourced from Old Mountain to highlight the power of sustainable food production to revitalise small communities and empower women especially.

This event is the first to be held within the GEF Fair and healthy food project, aimed at bringing together various actors throughout Europe working on a redesigned food systems around agro ecological principles.
