Detroit Entrepreneurship Network Mentor Application
Thank you for considering mentoring our students! As a mentor in the Detroit Entrepreneurship Network (DEN), you'll engage with our bright high schoolers as they build and run their own businesses. You'll offer your expertise and unique insight to guide these students through the uncertainties of the startup process. You'll be supporting the DEN mission–promoting the revival of the Motor City by providing an entrepreneurial-based education and community to local high school students to support them in starting their own business.

Most of our workshops are in Detroit with a few hosted at the University of Michigan. We'll arrange carpools and reimburse drivers for their gas mileage.

PLEASE NOTE: If you participate, you'll be joining our network as a mentor, not to work on your own startup ideas. While entrepreneurial experience is recommended, our curriculum is geared towards high school students and our mission is based on helping them. There are many other University of Michigan organizations that will support you in your own ventures.

Required Qualifications:
        • Current University of Michigan students
        • Excited to support our mission
        • Ready to work with and help high school students
