By signing above, I know that running, regardless of the distance, includes an element of risk. I and/or my child(ren) should not participate in the “Rainier Community Run” unless I am (we are) medically able. I agree to abide by all rules of the road as defined by the Revised Code of Washington.I understand and assume any and all risks associated with participating in the Run including, but not limited to, illness, traveling to and from the Run, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather (including temperature extremes and humidity)and the surface conditions of the roads and sidewalks. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of the acceptance of my registration, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge Rainier School District, its officers, agents and employees, event officials, volunteers and any and all sponsors, suppliers, agents, independent contractors, employees and any other personnel in any way assisting or connected with the Run from any and all claims or liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Run, even though that liability may arise out of the negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or parties named in this waiver. I also understand and agree that Rainier School District may subsequently use, for publicity or promotional purposes, my name, my child’s name or pictures of me and/or my children participating in the Run without liability or obligation to me.
