2017 Standon Calling Festival (27th-30th July) - Volunteer Application Form


We still have few positions available in the PRODUCTION TEAM - StewardsTeam.
The deal is 20hrs shifts on Thursday (12:00-21:00) & Friday (10:00-21:00) with various breaks. The task is mainly outdoor, stewarding the fire lanes (to check that none pitch their tent or park their car where they are not supposed to). You will receive 10x drink vouchers and you'll be completely free from Friday 21:00 (so you'll have Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the festival). You'll also have access to the crew camping area.

Applications for the TOP UP TEAM & CREATIVE TEAM are now CLOSED.

We provide:
- A free ticket to the festival
- Drink tokens (4x each 8 hours shift)
- Access to a dedicated staff campsite area (you need to bring your own tent)

Tasks include (but are not limited to):
- TOP UP STATIONS: Standon Calling is a cashless festival and all payments are made using the festival wristbands. The top up station volunteers are based indoor in our two top up stations, giving information and supporting the festival goers in topping up their wristbands. We may ask you also to help managing the queue (if needed).
- INFO TENT & MERCHANDISE: providing informations to the festival goers, supporting sales of merchandising items.
- ART DEPARTMENT & DECORATION: support the art department is installing and decorating the festival
- PRODUCTION STEWARDS: stewarding the fire lanes (to check that none pitch their tent or park their car where they are not supposed to).

AGE RESTRICTION
You must be aged 18 or over on 27th July 2017 to volunteer at Standon Calling Festival.
We accept applications from 16-18 volunteers only if they are volunteering with a responsible adult (21+).

DEPOSIT
To confirm your place, you will be asked to pay a fully refundable deposit of £100.
We know a deposit is a lot to ask - this is part of our policy to prevent volunteers not attending their shifts (it happened before, and it is not fair for the rest of the team).

SHIFTS
We expect all volunteers to cover a minimum of 16 hours over the festival (20 hrs for the PRODUCTION STEWARDS).
