2017-18년 한영 교류의 해를 맞아, 통의동 보안여관과 영국의 뉴아트익스체인지의 협업으로 진행된 Here, There and Everywhere는 신진 작가 지원, 문화교류 및, 실험적인 예술 콜라보레이션을 통해 새로운 예술 생태계 모델을 모색하는 국제 교류 레지던시 프로그램입니다. 본 프로그램을 진행한 한국과 영국의 두 기관 대표들이 각 기관이 구축해온 이야기들과 서로간에 같이 응시한 지점과 도플갱어 같이 공유한 기관의 유사점들을 이야기 합니다.
Here, There and Everywhere has been a journey undertaken by New Art Exchange and Artspace Boan 1942, exploring and exchanging organizational, curatorial and creative practice, through a conversation which began in January 2017. As a collaborative project, the aspiration is to develop new models which build on this foundation - an exchange that will contribute towards building a long term, sustainable, and creative partnership.
Skinder Hundal, Director of New Art Exchange, and Sung Woo Choi, Director of Artspace Boan1942 will be sharing one anothers organizational journey and also discuss one anothers similarities and differences and shared vision in practices learned through out the residency.
