Planning for Data
We are developing a data management guide for researchers and would appreciate your input.

In this document, we are particularly interested to learn about how you think and talk about activities and practices related to planning for data. We are using "planning" very generally to refer to the part or parts of the research process that involve preparing methods and materials. This phase is also sometimes called "preparation", "research design",  or "data management planning". Data-related activities that occur during during this phase may include, but are certainly not limited to, writing data management plans (DMPs) and formalizing lab protocols.

Your responses will help us ensure that our guide is useful for both researchers and data service providers (in the library and elsewhere).
