Barwon Heads Summer 2018/19 Season
- SUMMER 2017/18 Season Dates: starts Saturday 14th October finishing end of March. No play during Christmas Holiday Period
PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO PLAY ON MELBOURNE CUP LONG WEEKEND, Saturday November 4 .
- JUNIOR Players should be available to play each Saturday morning (OR Friday) during the season from 8am onwards, playing both home and away matches.
- JUNIOR Players play either in a 'boys' or ’girls' team. Players play a singles and a doubles set each week. BROTHERS AND SISTERS OR FRIENDS CAN PLAY TOGETHER OF DIFFERING SEX IF THEY WANT TO. PLEASE STATE THAT BELOW.  
-       If you are aware of any dates that you will be unavailable, please indicate below.
- Parents/ Guardians may be requested to act as Team Manager for their child’s team at some point every 4 to 5 seasons.
-       Parents/ Guardians will be rostered to supervise and or umpire (below a certain grade) children’s matches during the season as well as assisting with club BBQ when child's team is rostered on.
- If your child’s team does not make the grand final, parents will be required to umpire or assist with umpiring finals games regardless of the grading of their child.

Parents & Players must be available and are expected to assist with team umpiring duties during finals weeks if your child does not make the finals.
Any requests eg. girls or boys, friends or family to be with, travel partners
The committee will endeavour to take into consideration these requests when selecting and grading teams.

Information we should know
Please provide any information we need to take into consideration when grading. Your response here is confidential and only available to the selections committee.
Parents are to be involved with their child(ren) as supervisors during the season as rostered by the Team Manager. If unable to supervise when rostered, it is the parent’s duty to re arrange with Team Manager.
Parents and Players must be available and willing to assist with team umpiring duties during Finals Weeks. All players and parents are expected to represent the GTC when umpiring during Finals Games.
Teams that do not make Grand Finals will be allocated ONE umpiring duty during the three weeks of finals. Parents can assist by umpiring in the Chair or as lines person. All players are expected to assist with line umpiring.
