hackABILITY will:
- Facilitate the rapid prototyping of assistive devices that may be considered for further development and commercialization
- Raise awareness about emerging assistive and adaptive technology opportunities
- Provide industry mentoring to teams/students
- Support collaboration between educational institutions and established businesses
Mentor support is estimated to require 10 hours throughout September - November 2017. Mentors will provide technical or business support to the hackABILITY teams through in-person help sessions, electronic communication, and/or guidance at the launch info sessions (which will be held on Sept 19 & Sept 21).
