Dear Friends of the Industry,

For quite a few years now, I have often talked about the need for an advertising award show that is dedicated to Vietnam.We are a strong industry today. But we are not a strong community.Having an award show to call our own can help to bring us together even if it means we compete with each other.

We will be celebrating the one thing that we spend so much of our time and energy on: the work.It will be an opportunity for all advertising agencies, media companies, production houses… and clients to be in the company of one another to recognize the best work that we have produced thus far.It will be difficult.

We can all think of the difficulties we will have to face.But it will be a great achievement that will help our industry long after we are no longer a part of it.I believe it will also herald in the forming of our 4As (The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents) which is also much needed for the betterment of the local industry.It will take time, and because it will take time, we have to start now.So dear friends who are reading this (and please spread the word to the ones who are not), let us at least try.

We are all good at taking care of our own business, but this does not mean we cannot take care of the industry.
