Call For Speakers/Panelists For 2018 APNC
The 2018 Alumni Powerhouse Networking Conference (APNC) will be held in Baltimore, Maryland at John Hopkins Medicine from June 9th - 10th with a vision of bringing together adults who have experienced the foster care system from across the country to a safe and supportive space where they can promote their business endeavors, get feedback from other alumni on how to build and expand their businesses (and non-profits) as well as connect professionally and personally with other adult professionals from foster care. You are invited to submit a proposal to share your personal and professional expertise with other Alumni Professionals looking to start and expand their professional endeavors. All proposals must be submitted electronically via this form by March 31, 2018.

The 2018 APNC Theme is "Embracing Our Past. Empowering Our Future". We are looking for Panelists that have a proven track record in establishing a successful brand, product or service or that have provided services/expertise to people that have build a successful brand, product or service. We are also looking for Panelists/Speakers with extensive Child Welfare and Legislative expertise.

Speakers should be willing to lead a  90 minute break out session and/or participate on one of the Panels. Incomplete, late, or incorrectly submitted proposals will not be considered.

You will be asked to list your professional  bio and Workshop Facilitation history below.

Expenses associated with the preparation, submission and presentation of the workshop/panel are the responsibility of the presenter. There is also a promotional Speaker's Fee of $50. Should you wish to also reserve a Vending table, the cost associated with the Vendor Table is an additional $150.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: The APNC Audience are transitioning foster youth, Alumni/Adoptees of foster care and on Sunday open to everyone including Child Welfare Practitioners, Legislators and others that work with youth in care but may not be Alumni of Foster Care.  Please make sure the topic and focus is directed to these audiences.
