UVA Youth Inspire Application (Spring 2018)

Youth Inspire (https://youthinspireuvaweb.wixsite.com/youthinspireatuva) is a non-profit organization that partners UVa students with pediatric patients at the UVa Children's Hospital to foster peer interaction and emotional/social well-being. We aim to provide resources to these children in order to promote an overall sense of well-being and health.

Youth Inspire members design and conduct weekly health workshops for young patients on a variety of topics (art therapy, music, mindfulness and meditation, flu prevention, etc.). We are looking for people who enjoy working with kids and making someone's day! There are also opportunities for graphic designing and helping run our website.  If accepted, you will have the valuable opportunity to make a difference in the clinical setting and in our local Charlottesville community.

Applications are due by Friday February 9th, at 11:59pm.

***Restrictions: Please only apply if you can make it to our weekly general meetings (Tuesday, 5-6pm) AND are currently a first or second year.
