Registration: 2019 Alameda Spelling Bee
Please use this form to sign up for the 2019 Alameda Spelling Bee, which will be held on February 2nd, 9:30AM-12PM at Otis Elementary School, 3010 Fillmore Street (adjacent to Krusi Park).

All participants must be in the 4th-9th grades and either reside or attend school in the city of Alameda.
   
Depending on the number of entrants, there may be a written as well as an oral spelling bee. The written test will determine a group of 25-30 spellers to participate in the oral bee.

The top winners of the Alameda Spelling Bee will be sponsored to participate in the Alameda County Spelling Bee, to be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019. Depending on our winners, we may send groups of spellers to participate in the Alameda County Elementary Bee (Grades 4-6) and the Alameda County Junior High Bee (Grades 7-9).

The top two winners of the two Alameda County Bees will be sponsored to participate in the California State Spelling Bee, to be held on May 4th (junior high level, in San Rafael) or May 11th (elementary level, in Stockton).
