Urban Education Teacher Residency Interest Form for SY 2020-2021
In order to complete Illinois certification requirements during the residency year and as a part of the application process for the East St. Louis Urban Education Teacher Residency Program, all current candidates must take and pass the Illinois Licensure Testing System Content Test.  We understand that everyone may not have taken the test before now and will be preparing to take it in the near future.  Advance notice will be provided during the application process as to when the test will be required.  Additionally, ACT or SAT test scores will be required as an application artifact. Please attach your ACT or SAT scores with your application. Upon completion of this form, please apply for the Urban Education Teacher Resident position on our district website by visiting the Human Resource career opportunities link.

Please take a moment to complete this form.  The Teacher and School Leader Staff will be in touch with those candidates with completed applications, proof of required test scores, uploaded transcripts, and whose transcripts have been reviewed by NLU to determine the next steps.  Thank you for your patience and for your interest in becoming a teacher resident.
