Jazz Jam sessions hosted by New Jersey Performing Arts Center's Department of Community Engagement at Clement's Place, 15 Washington Street, Newark, NJ. Every third Thursday we will feature Wells Fargo Jazz for Teens, 5:30-7 pm, followed immediately by a top-flight line up of NJ jazz musicians directed by pianist and bandleader James Austin, Jr., 7:30-9:30 pm. Admission, drinks and refreshments are complimentary thanks to Wayne Winborne, Executive Director, Rutgers Institute of Jazz Studies. Jazz musicians and singers are welcomed to perform.
