The 6th Sevenoaks (Kemsing) Scout Group was founded in 1957.  We currently have four active sections catering for Beaver scouts aged 6-8, Cubs aged 8-10, Scouts aged 10-14 and Explorers aged 14-18.

Our Headquarters (HQ), located in Kemsing Common Field is more than 40 years old and now beyond the original planned shelf life. There is damp coming in causing the floor to rot, aspects of the roof over the garage have broken away, the environment is musty and generally unpleasant for the youngsters attending and the external façade is in disrepair.  In short it is no longer fit for purpose.

The aims for the proposed new hut is to create a quality environment in which the youngsters can enjoy their scouting, in a Headquarters that looks attractive and is available for wider community use.

We have recently submitted a pre-application to Sevenoaks District Council.
