Hello, if you are (or have been) the owner of a West Highland Terrier (Westie), that your dog is (or was) affected by pulmonary fibrosis or healthy, this survey is for you. Our aim is to study the potential role of certain environmental and/or family factors in the risk of development of pulmonary fibrosis in this breed. Pulmonary fibrosis is an incurable respiratory disease of unknown origin. Therefore, your contribution may allow to detect new elements in the study of this disease and allow to help affected dogs as the following generations. Your answers to the survey will remain confidential and will be archived in a database. This database will be used solely on our pulmonary fibrosis study currently being undertaken at the University of Liège, Belgium (for further information www.caninepulmonaryfibrosis.ulg.ac.be). The estimated time to take the survey is 30-45 minutes. Thank you for taking the time to read each question carefully before answering.
