Registration does not constitute acceptance. Your registration will not be processed until payment in full is received. Deposits and phone reservations will not be accepted. It is understood and agreed that by accepting your application to the Gene Harrington Tournaments, sponsors, directors, and members, (Robert Harrington) assume no legal liability for injuries or other loss as a result of participation in or traveling to or from the tournament. Payment must be paid in full with US currency and is non-refundable upon receipt. Refunds will only be granted to those teams that the Tournament Committee determines cannot adequately compete. All coaches, managers, assistant coaches, legal representatives, players, parents, or team officials hereby agree and will abide by all tournament rules and regulations as set forth by the tournament committee.

Teams are accepted on a first come first serve basis. Submitting a team registration and paying your tournament fee does not insure placement. To provide a certain degree of reassurance that your team can compete fairly, placement is subject to our screening process upon which your team will be notified of its acceptance. We make every effort to accept all applicants, but in good conscience we will never accept a team for the sake of filling a spot as it is our goal to create an atmosphere that is conducive to having a great tournament experience whether your team has a losing record or is undefeated. Tournaments that provide upfront guarantees do not abide by these same standards, and often put teams in bad situations such as uneven competition, or last-minute cancellations. A full refund will be issued to teams that are not accepted.

Games: All teams are guaranteed four games. Please be prepared to play as early as 7:00 AM on the first day of the tournament. Please do not apply if this is a problem.

Weather: If a team can't make their scheduled game or games then it will result in a forfeit. Forfeit will result in a 1-0 score. The winning team will receive 2 points, and the team that forfeited 0. If inclement weather creates unsafe playing conditions at any of our outdoor facilities, then the game will be cancelled, and the tournament staff will make every effort to reschedule the game. Games that cannot be rescheduled will result in a 0 - 0 tie with each team receiving 1 point each. Please note that if this occurs you will not be eligible for any type of refund since you are registering with the understanding that there is a risk that the outdoor facilities can be adversely affected by the weather.

Hotels: We require that all out of town teams stay at one of our host hotels. Please refer to the Hotel Information page for room rates and to complete the hotel registration form. Please note that all hotels have a two-night minimum stay policy.

Identification: All U.S, and Canadian teams must be registered with their respective parent organization. A certified USA or CAHA Hockey team roster will be required prior to the tournament event, and can be mailed or emailed. Also, please have a copy of your certified roster at all times during the tournament event.
