Thank you for your interest in becoming a scorekeeper for Foster City Youth Softball Association. Our goal is to supply the league with well-trained, mature, and committed scorekeepers. Please very carefully consider whether you will realistically have the time to both scorekeep and play, in addition to your schoolwork. The spring season starts late February and goes through May.In order to become a scorekeeper, you must: Be between the ages of 12-18, Attend a scorekeeper clinic - to be held some time in mid/late February, Shadow an experienced scorekeeper for one training game. Scorekeepers will be paid $20.00 per game and paid at the end of the season, or you can choose to receive two hours of community service per game instead of being paid. Once we get closer to the season, you will be able to access the scheduling website. You will not be able to scorekeep in your current age division.
