Ka Hui Heluhelu presents Dr. Douglas Fisher February 9, 2019
Teaching students to read and write across content areas (science, social studies, arts, etc.) and grade levels (K-12) is an important goal that educators share.  To accomplish this, teachers have to engage students in the right type of instruction.  In this session, we explore the gradual release of responsibility as a framework for students’ content and literacy learning as well as ways for students to access complex content area texts.
