Wall to Action Collective (Registration)
Welcome to the Wall to Action Collective! From June to August 2017, we will be recruiting 10-15 young artists (15-25 years old) of Indigenous and non-Indigenous backgrounds to create a mural of their vision for reconciliation in Toronto. The mural will be based on the 94 Calls to Action put forward by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in 2015.

Please register if you would like to participate! If you have any questions, contact us at info@canadianroots.ca or 647-956-5019

Canadian Roots Exchange (CRE) is a national registered charity that brings Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth together to learn from each other, teach, laugh, play and spend time on the land. About the program
The Wall to Action Collective brings together young artists to share spoken word and create a mural in downtown Toronto. Young artists will be mentored by professionals in the field and Elders from Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Participants will be expected to attend 10 weekly two-hour sessions, and will receive a stipend upon successful completion of the program.

This program will explore art as resistance, revival, and reconciliation. The next few questions will help us get to know you as we convene the team for summer 2017.
