2018 SABA Volunteer Engagement Survey
Please take a moment to complete the SABA 2018 Volunteer Engagement Survey. As discussed at multiple business meetings, the 2019 Swarm List participation will be linked to member volunteerism and engagement. All persons participating in the 2019 Swarm List must be current members and have contributed volunteer time in an effort to further our mission which is to promote interest in, and awareness of, the vital importance of the honeybee and beekeeping to agriculture, commerce, and the public at large.
SABA has a log of volunteers who have contributed in formal outreach opportunities such as adult or classroom presentations, tabling or booths at various events, committee leadership or participation, and ongoing volunteer roles at monthly meetings but would like your input on other ways that you have volunteered. We know that many members contribute in so many ways and we want to hear from you! You’ll find a menu with many options of volunteer roles that members fill regularly and a space to fill in how many hours you provided. You may also use the blank to enter in your own description of your volunteer involvement. Our new SABA website, to be launched in 2019, will have an official submission form for members to partner with SABA to regularly track their volunteer engagement hours. The SABA Executive Board thanks you in advance for helping us to acknowledge your volunteer engagement!
