Transportation
Transportation borrowing at the state level has increased over five fold since 2000, taking up nearly 23% of the transportation budget at the latest count. The number of state roads rated as “excellent” or “very good” has fallen, while the number of streets rated “fair” or worse has increased. Local roads, in particular, have decreased in quality in Green Bay and around the state.

UW Funding
Our public colleges and universities are among the finest in the nation, but state support for our UW system has dropped dramatically. In fact, since 2011, nearly $800 million has been cut from our public colleges and universities, including UWGB. At the same time, college affordability and accessibility continue to be concerns for many families across the state.
