International Student Workshops RSVP
In order to prepare students for graduate school at Wagner, we have curated workshops to focus on different aspects of the Wagner, NYU, and NYC experience. Please see the full list of workshops below and we hope you will be able to join us.

Help! I'm new to NYC (Webinar)
August 4 @ 10:00am: The Wagner International Student Society (WISS) will facilitate a conversation on topics like renting an apartment, opening a bank account and navigating NYC’s public transport system. All you need to know about moving to the big apple!

NYC, NYU, and YOU!
August 28 @ 10:00 - 12:00pm: This is a conversation around getting to know NYC and NYU. How do you take advantage of your NYU ID card, what is the culture at NYU/Wagner, and where are some cheap places to eat!

American Classroom & Governance
August 30 @ 10:00 - 12:00pm: If you are unfamiliar with the governance of the United States, join us for a faculty-led discussion on institutions in the United States.

International Student Writing Workshop
September 20 @ 11:00 - 12:30pm: The writing style at Wagner can be tricky! Join Thom Blaylock, head of the Writing Center, for a conversation around Wagner writing and how to best approach it.

Working in the U.S.
October 18 @  11:00 - 12:30pm: When can I work? How do I work? All of these questions will be answered in this very in-depth workshop on work authorization as an international student.
