Please register for our Music Memory Box pilot
Deadline for expressions of interest - 2 June 2017

We are looking for Bristol-based families with family members living with dementia to help us test and improve our new product.

This is a free chance for you to try a brand new, multi-sensory tool for exploring and triggering fond memories.

Music Memory Box is a kit that you can fill with objects and photographs. Its technology allows you to play songs through objects. Think object jukebox combined with Desert Island Discs! Music Memory Box was a finalist in the most Innovative Product Category in the National Dementia Awards 2015. It has been covered nationally and internationally, including: New York Times, WIRED, carehome.co.uk and the Guardian.

Music Memory Box was designed by STUDIO MEINECK, a social tech start-up based in the Pervasive Media Studio; part of Watershed, Bristol. Studio Meineck specialises in designing products with people, rather than for people.

Music Memory Box is a new kind of reminiscence tool - the first of its kind. We have been using it in workshops across the UK and now we want your help. We’re looking for enthusiastic families to work with: to see how you use our product, what benefits you get from using one and providing honest feedback to make it better.

We particularly welcome applications from people with BAME backgrounds.

We would love your feedback, comments and improvements on this form, so if you think there's anything we've missed, please email: info@studiomeineck.com and for more information, visit www.studiomeineck.com
