Robotics 2022/23 Application

Dear 4th and 5th grade families,

Emerson’s Robotics Program is an official member of FLL and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Emerson Cafeteria starting TBD (we are aiming for the end of September/beginning of October).
There are limited spots available on the Robotics Team for this year so please fill out the application to the best of your ability.

While there will be teachers acting as coaches for the Robotics Team, the students are required to do most of the work without adult assistance. This requires that the students are self-motivated, self-directed, strong collaborators and willing to commit to being on the team for the whole year. They must also be willing to attend all team meetings and participate in district competitions. Students will need to provide their own transportation and be picked up promptly at 4:30 after every practice.

All interested students are required to complete the following application. This application is due September 19th. No applications will be accepted after this date. All applications will be reviewed to determine which students will be on the team. Students will be notified by Thursday, September 22nd if they were chosen to be on the team.
