This questionnaire is part of the UP-STRAW project. The main objective of the project is to scale up the use of straw in the construction sector, for new buildings and for retrofitting old buildings. The project aims to accelerate the uptake of straw building by disseminating and translating knowledge, opening the market, training professionals and promoting interest in this technique for project owners.

This form applies to all countries taking part in UP-STRAW: France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium but all contributors are welcome and you are invited to forward this questionnaire to anyone keen to share his or her experience.

The purpose of this survey is to gain a better understanding of the European market: number of construction site/renovation, techniques used, costs of construction, etc... The survey results will be registered on a dedicated website.

The project owner may remain anonymous if desired and the construction is not necessarily location-based.
