AncestryDNA Match Statistics
AncestryDNA's new DNA Matches list includes relationship probabilities for different amounts of shared DNA.  These probabilities are different from the ones currently being used by DNA Painter, so we'd like to crowd-source them as a potential improvement to our tools.  Feel free to contribute as many unique values as you like by repeating the survey.  Right now, we need values above 1000 cM; we already have enough data below that point.  Thank you!

From your DNA match list, click the shared DNA amount (blue link) for any match who shares more than 1000 cM with you.  You will get a pop-up with percents for each possible relationship. Use those percentages to answer the questions below.  If the percent is "< 1%", please enter 0.5.  If the specific relationship is not shown in the list, please enter "0" (without quotes).
