Proposal for Academic Engagement with TC3
We expect that many members of the University community will want to engage with the residents of Tent City 3 during their stay on campus, and that many of you may be thinking of ways to incorporate conversations about homelessness into Winter Quarter courses.

Undergraduate Academic Affairs is coordinating academic engagements with Tent City 3 and The Carlson Leadership & Public Service Center has worked closely with the Tent City Collective over the last several months to shape service-learning and other academic engagement opportunities with Tent City 3 during their stay on campus.

This proposal process has been designed with and vetted by residents of Tent City 3. It is meant to draw on the Carlson Center’s expertise in supporting ethical and thoughtful community engagement in academic courses across the undergraduate curriculum.
