Day 7D - Labyrinthine Levitos Tours
You call over to the Spiral, and explain that you’ve overheard their plight.  You explain the curious situation in which you acquired this jewelry, but you think it would be better served as a gift for an anniversary than a souvenir from a trip.  You offer the jewelry, and when the Spiral inspects it further, they seem curiously intrigued.  Apparently they were looking for a very specific perfume from this shop, but the fact that this was handmade by a local artist from the very city they were married in, and would last much longer than any bottle of perfume, would make it a wonderful gift for their beloved.  They very gratefully accept the gift you’ve offered, and your gondolier pushes you back into the busy district as you say your well-wishes to the Spiral.  Leaving the Ca d’Oro behind, they mention that your tour  is coming to a close soon.  Your last stop before the end of this journey will be a lovely visit to the exciting Labyrinthine Levitos Gift Shop, where all manner of marine memorabilia and sea souvenirs await you!  It’s a calming ride back, leaving most of the tourists behind, you once more pass through residential neighborhoods on the way back to the start of the tour.  Due to the cyclical nature of the canals in Levitos, it’s not a far passage from the Ca d’Oro district to the Gift Shop.  Docking the gondola, your tour guide shows you all the wondrous items available for practically a pittance, but each tour does come with a complementary mask which you’re free to choose from to wear to the Marriage of the Sea ceremony at the end of the festival (they only ask that you spread the word on where you got it if asked).  The first is a finely carved, stained wooden mask with simple etchings decorating it.  Other than that is has no adornments or attachments and only covers the top half of the wearer’s face.  The second mask has replicated the look of mother-of-pearl inlaid in delicate patterns sweeping its surface, but also only covers half the face.  The last mask is a full mask, decorated with silver bells and reflective fish scales, and along one edge of the mask is a grouping of azure feathers.
