GlobeMed is a student-run nonprofit that creates long-term partnerships between university chapters and grassroots NGOs in developing countries to advance the movement for global health and social justice. Our chapter at Columbia University is partnered with Gulu Women's Economic Development and Globalization (GWED-G) in Gulu, Uganda.

A few things to note:

You will hear back from us by Tuesday 1/30 regarding an interview. Interviews will take place on Friday 2/2 and Saturday 2/3 (sign-up below). Decisions will be released by 10:00PM on Saturday 2/3.

We are looking for members who will be fully committed to GlobeMed and will prioritize it. This means attending our weekly chapter meetings, participating in our out of chapter events, attending retreat, and being an engaged and present part of our chapter.

If accepted, our first meeting will be on Sunday, February 4th, from 8:00-9:30PM. New member orientation will take place directly beforehand from 7:00-8:00PM. You will also be expected to attend our spring retreat on Sunday, February 11th from 10:00AM-2:00PM along with the rest of the chapter. Our chapter meetings take place on Sundays from 8:00-9:30PM.
