PLEASE READ the entire thing!

1) The LIVE contemporary worship team typically leads worship on the first and third Sundays of the month.  On months that we have a fifth Sunday, we alternate leading worship with the other worship team.

2) Leading worship requires you to sing and/or play your instrument on your own.  In other words, it is different from singing in a choir or playing in a concert band or orchestra where your sound is duplicated by a number of others.  You need to be comfortable and strong with singing into a microphone and/or being amplified.

For keyboardists and bass guitar, playing on this team requires you to read a lead sheet and being able to play chords mostly in the keys of C, G, D, A and E.  Understanding chord inversions is also helpful.  I can show an example if you need.

We are also looking for people to play brass, string and wind instruments on occasion.   We invite you to fill out the form.

3) Anyone who fits the description above and is between the ages of 13-100 is invited  to join the team.

4) REHEARSALS: Rehearsals are typically 1 1/2 hours.  We rehearse August-May.   WE WILL NOT REHEARSE during Wednesday night programming.  (5:00-7:30 pm)

The first rehearsal for 2018-19 will be the week of August 13.  Dates and times TBA.

If you are involved in seasonal activities, such as track, school or community plays, etc, we can work with that.
